Description

Moss clung tightly to the bark of the trees, littering some of the ground in a multi-coloured hug, barely anything could grow on the forest floor part from the trees and the odd couple of flowers that managed to pierce through the blanket of moss, managing to get enough sunlight to grow amongst the haven of moss. Erin blinked sightlessly as she snuffled along the floor with her nose pressed against the moss, attempting to pick up any scent she could, searching for items to collect within the forest. She was quite fond of the forest, enjoying her time here alone, wandering through the trees alone, she enjoyed the time apart from her pack and her handlers, though she was fond of them also, she enjoyed the solitude out here, even if it's just one trip a week or every now and then, it always ended up making her feel better about everything.

Her ears twitched softly as she thought she heard something, blinking softly and raising her head up to listen better, abandoning what she was doing at the present moment to try and listen out in the forest. Despite seeing nothing, Erin's eyes scanned the forest, sightless. She twitched her ears a couple more times before her head turned to listen to a cracked twig not too far from her, the sounded of breathing finally seeming to reach her ears. Erin lowered her head a little bit and let out a heavy little growl, pinning her ears back as her hackles raised. Human voices graced her ears after a moment, not too far from her, causing her heart to pound, not used to people having unfriendly scents, at least... Not anymore.

She blinked her sightless eyes at them, the people seeming to work out that she was in fact, blind and would thus be an easy target. But Erin was not so easy to catch, she wouldn't go down without a fight and she certainly wouldn't get herself caught. She hesitated for a moment, before she turned and ran, fast, and without warning. The group of people seemed caught off guard for a moment, blinking wordless as the blind Tokotas ran into the woods before their feet finally seemed to awake and they too ran into the depths of the forest, not quite quick enough to be on her heel, but they were quite close behind her.

Erin wasn't going to give up so easily, despite being blind she knew the forest, as well as she, knew her own paws, and she knew she could escape the clutches of whoever was following, though today she felt faster, faster than she'd ever felt before, her flowers peeling away from her mane as she ran, easily avoiding the trees and other objects in her way, startling a couple of deer but she paid them no mind, her thoughts set on escaping. The voices and shouts of the people grew dimmer and dimmer, but Erin's feet did not stop, carried by the breeze in the forest, she felt as though she could fly
